Ready, Set, Go!

 Today I set up my samples in the Lab! I am doing three different exposures for my latent prints. Cold temperatures, hot temperatures, and submerged. I am looking to see if the latent print will fade over time and once visible minutia become invisible following superglue fuming. My submerged samples are not just exposed to water but also gravel and live fish to simulate a pond. This is meant to resemble a suspect discarding a firearm or other piece of evidence into a body of water. Every week I will remove one print and fume it. I will then see if all 12 minutia points are still visible on the print which will help me determine the effect of the temperature or water on the print.
