Jessica's Bio

Hello everyone!! 

    My Name is Jessica and I am currently a student at Phoenix College studying for my Forensic Science Degree. What got me into Forensics' you may ask? Well besides the usual, which is watching every crime show there is known to man growing up, I also chose to go down this path because I am huge into helping other people. And what better way to help someone then help them get justice for something that may have happened to them or a family member. I guess it is more of an indirect way of helping people, but to me it is all the same. I am super excited to be a part of this program and gain more knowledge in the career field that I am pursuing.

    A Little bit more about me outside of school, I have three children, 2 boys and 1 girl. They keep me busy in all my free time. My daughter whom is 13 loves cheerleading and singing. When she grows up, she wants to be a professional singer. My 12-year-old son Brayden loves to play video games and I am sure when he grows up would love to pursue a career in the gaming or computer industry. My youngest son is 7 years old and plays soccer and also loves to play video games on the weekends.

    Some of my hobbies include traveling whenever I get the chance. I try to go on at least one vacation every other month if I can because those vacations are what keep me grounded. Another hobby of mine is building Legos. My first set was the Disney Castle and it sits in my room as my favorite piece of decor, and my most recent set was Stranger Things. I grew up in California so I always love taking trips out there and bringing my kids to Disneyland. Oh, I guess I should mention I am a Disney nerd! I love all things Disney!

    Anyways, I do hope that the semester goes smoothly and I look forward to talking with many of you!
